Every day we look forward anew to being able to prepare an unforgettable stay for you. How do we do that? As a team! True to our motto “Moments that touch the heart”, we put our heart and soul into fulfilling all your wishes for well-being. Particularly important to us is the team spirit, the pure post power. We are a well-coordinated team and have already mastered a number of challenges together. It is even nicer to get positive feedback from our guests and to celebrate successes together.
On this page we would like to introduce our department heads, without whom little would run at Hotel Altötting. Whether as a passionate host, at the lobby, in the kitchen or in the restaurant – they have the overview and ensure a smooth operation behind the scenes.

For the charming driver of our “stagecoach”, the absolute well-being of the guests and his team are in the first place. He also likes to lend a hand when there is a need. The experienced hotelier has seen a lot of the world and likes to swap the rough North Sea climate of the past 16 years for the gentle landscape of Upper Bavaria.
As a native Rhinelander, he misses his homeland especially during the carnival season. Happiness for him is to accompany his two children on their way into their own “adult life” with advice & action and above all a lot of love.

Organizational professional and the calm pole of the entire hotel, takes even a whirlwind the wind out of the sails. Rumor has it that she has more than 2 ears, because she really ALWAYS has an open one for everyone! She likes to eat well and likes white wine, only with Chardonnay you can hunt her.

Even at home she likes to solve tricky Sudoku puzzles! To clear her head, she likes to hike in the mountains or relax while watching her favorite series.

Julia can best switch off when she spins several kilometers in the swimming pool or collects herbs in the forest, from which she makes oils, teas or tinctures for her own use.

From apprenticeship to head chef: the Hotel Zur Post is no stranger to Agnes Leschenar, who completed her training here in 2008, culminating in the title of master chef. Born in Lübeck, she has loved cooking ever since she was a child and has made this passion her profession. She herself likes fish, herbs and Asian-inspired dishes best, with the naturalness and freshness of the products taking top priority in all her dishes. In her free time, she likes to meditate or spend time with her two cats, Khaleesi and Nepomuk. Agnes describes herself as inquisitive and always on the lookout for new creations and challenges. Her colleagues appreciate her above all for the calm and contentment she radiates.
