Altötting train station is approx. 800 metres from our hotel and can be reached in approx. 10 minutes by foot.

No, there is no charging station for electric cars directly at our hotel. You will find a charging station in the underground car park on Kapellplatz and at the Forum in Altötting. You will find more electric charging stations here.

Yes, the WiFi is free of charge for all our guests. Our reception team will give you the necessary login details when you check in.

Our reception team is here for you daily from 7 am – 10 pm.

There is a night safe to the left of the main entrance door for any guests arriving later. Please let us know in good time so that we can leave your room key there and send you the code to open the safe in advance.

Yes, we also offer half board. We are happy to serve you a 2-course evening meal with a main course of your choice for an additional charge of € 39 per person and a 3-course evening meal for € 45 per person.

No, there is no shuttle to the golf courses from the Hotel Zur Post.

We are happy to offer you two electric bikes for hire, subject to availability. We charge €25 per day for these. We do not offer trekking bikes or mountain bikes for hire, but our reception team will be happy to help you and advise you on suitable bike shops in Altötting that do offer this service.

Our Hotel Zur Post is largely disabled-friendly with access via the entrance from Kapellplatz. Just let us know before your arrival and we will take care of a separate check-in to ensure that everything is accessible for you. We also offer a disabled-friendly double room.

You can flexibly cancel your reservation free of charge up to one day before your arrival. On the day of arrival itself, we will charge 90% of the overnight rate.

The parking spaces behind our hotel are available for a fee of €5 per day. You can also park in the adjacent underground car park on Kapellplatz, just 1 minute’s walk from our hotel, for €5 per day (€0.50/hour).

There are 9 outdoor parking spaces behind our hotel, one of which we will be happy to reserve for you subject to availability and for a fee of €5. There is also an underground car park directly next to our hotel under Kapellplatz where you are also welcome to park your car. The parking fee here is also €5 per day.

No, you do not have to pay any visitor’s tax or other tourist taxes in Altötting.

If you book directly with us, we always guarantee you the best price. If you find a cheaper price on the internet, e.g. on Booking, it’s worth giving us a call because we promise you the same price with the same conditions, plus many other direct booking benefits.

Of course you are welcome to bring your four-legged friend. We charge € 22 per day for dogs. Please let us know in advance if you’re bringing your dog. Thank you.

No, there is currently no gym at the hotel itself. However, as a guest you will receive discounted admission to our partner gym INJOY in Neuötting, which offers state-of-the-art equipment, chip-controlled circuit training, a varied range of courses and a spacious wellness area:

– Daily admission to the training area: €9.90
– Daily admission to the training and wellness area: €17.40

Tickets are available from our reception.

The Hotel Zur Post does not currently have its own wellness area. But we do offer discounted day tickets to our partner gym INJOY in Neuötting. For just €17.40 you can train there all day and use the wellness area.

Our reception team will be happy to advise you on other wellness options in the area.

Yes, per additional person in the room we charge a surcharge of 30,- € for an extra bed (depending on availability possible in some rooms, we ask for registration 24 h before arrival).

Our prices for children:

– Children up to 5 years: free for bed and breakfast/10,00 € for booked packages
– Children 6-12 years: 8,00 € for bed and breakfast + 30,00 € for extra bed, if desired (please book 24 h in advance)/26,00 € for booked packages
– Children 13-15 years: 12,00 € for bed and breakfast/37,00 € for booked packages
– from 16 years regular prices

No, our rooms are all non-smoking rooms; please kindly take this into consideration. However, you are welcome to smoke in the hotel’s Smoking Lounge.

No, the rooms are not equipped with air conditioning. We will be happy to provide you with an air-conditioning unit on request: simply contact us at reception.

No, bathrobes and slippers are not part of our inclusive services.

We kindly ask you to check-out of your room by 11 am. Would you like to check-out later? Please ask our reception team (+49 8671 97337-0). We charge €15 for a late check out up to 4 pm.

Your hotel room will be ready for you from 3 pm. Would you like to check in earlier? Please ask our reception team if an early check in is possible: +49 8671 97337-0. For a guaranteed early check-in (subject to availability) we charge € 15.00 per hour until 14.00.

Wednesday and Sunday evening the restaurant is closed.
